A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US
CellStop launched its first Vehicle Tracking and security product in 1998, making them one of the pioneers in the industry in South Africa and globally.
CellStop has over the years developed both the hardware and back end software that forms the total Vehicle tracking solution.
CellStop is directly represented in South Africa, (Head Office based in Cape Town) Swaziland, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia and Nigeria, offering vehicle tracking and integrated fleet management services.
CellStop is a BEE level 2 company with its largest shareholder being Lebone Engineering, who were the Electrical Consulting Engineers on the Gautrain Project and who undertake many other major engineering projects.
The Vehicle Tracking system has evolved over the years and many derivatives have been produced to leverage the changes in the technology available.
The currently marketed hardware is the MK9, an intelligent GSM/GPS solution and the Griffon, a very basic GSM/GPS solution.
The difference being that the intelligent systems are programmed to react to conditions at the unit level, ie:
- tracking off-line and
The dumb system relies on the information being processed by the server. This unit called the SVR100 is very effectively used as a security back up especially for high risk vehicles.
DIVERSE CLIENT BASE
CellStop has serviced many diverse clients over the years from large corporate fleets, to heavy mining equipment, to consumer vehicles and Taxis, all of whom have found the system to be informative and easy to use.
